Job summary

Crenlo is looking for a Warehouse/Materials Associate in Rochester, MN. You will stock weld and assembly lines, unload/load trucks, and manage parts movement across the plant. Strong English communication, attention to detail, and basic computer/RF unit use are required.

Responsibilities include receiving items, maintaining stock accuracy, and collaborating with other departments daily to ensure smooth material flow and safety. Prior manufacturing exposure is beneficial.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Completed Company forklift training program and maintain license.
  • Prior experience in a manufacturing environment is beneficial.
  • Understanding of material flow in a manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain clean and neat work area.
  • Perform other jobs within the department or plant as required by supervision.

Job Description
GENERAL SUMMARY

Keep both weld lines and assembly lines stocked with the items they need. Unload and load trucks when needed.

MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Withdraw, transfer, and deliver parts as required throughout the plant. This includes maintaining inventory in weld and assembly to prevent shortages.
  • Move and locate parts accurately and efficiently in a fast paced environment.
  • Receive purchased and manufactured items when needed.

SKILLS

A good command of the English language is required, both written and spoken. Strong interpersonal and communication skills are required. Possess strong analytical abilities. Be able to operate a forklift efficiently, be self-motivated/self-starter and have computer knowledge or capability of learning to use computers and RF units. Ability to work with supervision from other departments on a daily basis.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

Must be able to physically perform essential functions of the job. Must be able to regularly lift and/or move up to 50 lbs., and occasionally up to 100 lbs. Typically requires sitting on a regular basis, and standing, walking, stooping, crouching, kneeling, reaching and handling. Specific vision requirements include depth perception, color vision, and peripheral vision.

WORKING CONDITIONS

Frequently exposed to noise, odors, dust and chemicals. Typically requires the use of a forklift. Safety glasses, steel-toed shoes with metatarsal protection, seatbelts and gloves are required.
