Midland in Indiana is hiring for a full-time warehouse associate. The role focuses on pulling, packing, converting, and shipping orders with attention to accuracy and damage-free handling. Hours are Monday–Friday 10:00am–6:30pm, with overtime and possible late finish. In-person work location with safety rules enforced.

Ideal candidates will have warehouse experience and be able to lift 50+ lbs daily. Equipment used includes stand-up reach trucks, sit-down forklifts, and electric pallet jacks.

Responsabilidades

• Pull, pack, stage or convert orders for shipment using a work order or supervisor instruction.
• Package material for shipment according to shipping requirements or customer instructions.
• Ensure shipping labels are legible and include job and order numbers.
• Use computer to generate labels, check stock, input data for shipping status, and prepare UPS/FedEx shipments and manifests.
• Load trucks with loads secured properly and areas kept clean and safe.
• Accurately complete and maintain all forms and records.
• Perform housekeeping to keep area clean and debris-free.
• Comply with safety rules and regulations.
• Other duties as assigned.

POSITION SUMMARY

To provide excellent customer service by ensuring that orders are pulled, packaged, converted, shipped and loaded accurately and free from visible damage or defect. The hours for this position are Monday through Friday 10:00am-6:30pm. This shift regularly works overtime. Sometimes as late as 9pm. The ideal candidate will have previous experience working in a warehouse.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

• Pull, pack, stage or convert orders for shipment using a computer-generated work order or verbal instruction from supervisor.
• Package material for shipment according to shipping requirements and/or customer specified instruction.
• Ensure that all product/shipping labels are legible. Include job and order numbers on order tickets.
• Use computer equipment to generate labels, check stock, input data for shipping status, prepare UPS/FedEx shipments and create shipping manifests.
• Load trucks making sure: truck is chocked before attempting to unload and load product; truck bed is clear of debris, obstruction or defect for safe entry/exit; incoming product is free from damage and coincides with packing list or return authorization; and freight is properly positioned and secured in the truck.
• Responsible for properly securing loads for delivery.
• Accurately complete and maintain all forms and records legibly.
• Perform housekeeping duties to keep work area clean and free of debris.
• Comply with all safety rules and regulations.
• Other duties as assigned.
• Ability to lift 50+ lbs on a daily basis.
