Job summary

Hamilton-Ryker is seeking a Material Handler/Forklift Operator for the 2nd shift in Midway, KY. The role involves operating a sit-down forklift, supplying materials to production lines, and handling shipping/receiving duties.

Responsibilities include moving finished goods to storage, loading/unloading trucks, and assisting with inventory and lean manufacturing initiatives. A high school diploma and forklift experience are required; 2nd shift with potential overtime.

Qualifications

• Must have strong forklift operation skills and ability to handle shipping/receiving duties.
• Experience with inventory control and cycle counting is a plus.
• Basic computer skills required for documentation and shipping systems.
• Valid driver’s license is required.

Responsibilities

• Operate a sit-down forklift to move materials and finished goods.
• Assist production by supplying materials to lines and moving finished products to storage.
• Perform shipping and receiving tasks and stock lines with raw materials.
• Load/unload products from trucks and prepare shipping documents.
• Maintain FIFO for finished goods and raw materials; assist with inventory prep.

Position: Material Handler/Forklift Operator
Location: Midway, KY

Shift:2nd shift: Monday - Friday: 4:00pm - 12:30am
Mandatory Overtime Required Daily, some Saturdays as well.
Pay:$16.50 p/hr

What you'll do:

• Operating a Sit-downforklift
• Support and assist the production team by supplying materials to the lines and moving finished product to storage.
• Move finished product to storage areas
• Perform Shipping & Receiving duties
• Stock lines with raw material and empty totes.
• Loading and Unloading of product from trucks, In some cases by hand.
• Scanning Materials and products for shipping
• Use of computerto create shipping documentation
• Maintain FIFO (First in First out) for Finished Goodand raw material
• Assist with inventory prep and cycle counting
• Assist and support continuous improvement and lean manufacturing processes
• Perform other related duties as assigned

What we need from you:

• Must be at least18 years of age or over
• Must comply with client substance abuse & backgroundpolicy
• Must have Highschool Diploma or equivalent
• 2 years previous Forklift experience
• Valid Drivers License
• Basic computer skills
