Job summary

RPM Industrial Coatings Group in Hudson, NC is seeking 2nd shift Material Handlers to move materials with a forklift to appropriate locations within the department and around the facility.

Responsibilities include stocking, inventory checks, ordering materials, maintaining line supplies, and moving finished pallets to wrappers and shipping staging areas; prior forklift experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Forklift experience preferred.
• Fill off experience preferred.
• Must be able to obtain forklift license.

JOB DESCRIPTION RPM Industrial Coatings Group in Hudson, NC is looking for 2nd Shift Material Handlers ($2 Shift Differential). $1,000 Sign-On Bonus!

GENERAL SUMMARY

Move materials with forklift to appropriate locations within department and around facility.

PRINCIPLE DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Other duties may be assigned.

• Check inventory of machine tape, hot glue, UPC labels, box labels, ribbons, pallets, etc.
• Order materials and maintain supplies necessary for the daily running of materials, such as cans, boxes, lids, pallet ship sheets, etc.
• Maintain supplies for filling line, such as empty cans, boxes, etc. and operate forklift to manage supply of materials to line
• Move full pallets of finished material to pallet wrappers and wrap with shrink wrap.
• Move completed pallets to shipping staging areas.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Basic math/ measurement skills
• Basic reading and comprehension skills
• Reasoning Ability Determine correct processes regarding standard filling line procedures as instructed in initial training and from batch ticket instructions.
• Work without continuous supervision and complete assigned projects.

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS

Must be able to obtain forklift license.
