Job summary

RBC Bearings Incorporated is hiring for an Assembler - Marking & Packing on the 2nd shift in Santa Ana, CA. You will label parts with marking equipment, inspect for accuracy, and prepare pieces for packaging while keeping a clean workstation and adhering to safety procedures.

The role requires a GED or high school diploma and 1–3 months of related experience or training. Candidates must be able to lift up to 25 lbs, work independently, and collaborate within a team to meet production goals.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1-3 months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Proficiency in operating marking equipment and tools.
• Strong attention to detail for accurate labeling and defect detection.

Responsibilities

• Operate marking equipment including electro-etching units, laser engravers, dot peening units, and ink stampers to label parts accurately.
• Inspect parts for correct identification and quality standards before and after marking.
• Perform wrapping, boxing, and labeling of parts according to packaging specifications and customer requirements.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations and equipment.
• Follow safety protocols and production procedures to ensure a safe and efficient work environment.
• Record job completion details and report any defects or equipment issues to supervisors.
