Job summary

General Dynamics Ordnance and Tactical Systems is seeking a Maintenance Utility for the 2nd shift in Lincoln, NE. The role starts at a starting hourly rate of $24.64 per hour with a $1.75 shift premium upon transfer to the 2nd shift.

The employee will perform minor maintenance tasks, assist with material handling, painting, and hazardous material disposal, while supporting housekeeping and other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience operating forklifts, floor scrubbers, and man lifts preferred.
• Ability to perform basic maintenance and housekeeping duties safely.

Responsibilities

• Move material as required by production.
• Perform painting tasks as needed.
• Dispose of hazardous materials safely and in accordance with procedures.
• Perform general housekeeping and janitorial duties throughout the facility.
• Learn to safely operate forklift, floor scrubber, and a man lift as requested.
