Job summary

Radix Wire & Cable, LLC is seeking a Maintenance Technician for its Glenwillow, OH facility. This full-time, onsite role operates on the 2nd shift, with potential to train the 1st shift. You will diagnose, repair, and maintain mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and control systems in a high-temperature manufacturing environment.

You will support preventive maintenance, organize the shop, and ensure safety standards while supporting continuous operations and parts inventory management.

Qualifications

• Ability to read electrical diagrams and part drawings.
• Proficient in using micrometers, indicators, calipers, and similar measuring tools.
• Experience with acetylene torch and welding equipment.
• Troubleshooting electrical schematics and mechanical systems.
• Strong attention to detail and problem solving.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and control breakdowns.
• Keep up-to-date with PM Schedule.
• Relocate/install plant equipment and utilities.
• Fabrication and light machining.
• Rebuild mechanical equipment and assemble small parts.
• Maintain maintenance shop, tools, and inventory.
• Keep logs, files, and parts lists up to date.
• Ensure OSHA compliance and safe workspace.
• Document electrical & mechanical systems.
