Job summary

Carolina Container LLC in Hickory, NC is seeking an experienced maintenance technician to install, troubleshoot and maintain production and facility equipment in a fast-paced industrial environment.

You will perform preventive maintenance, repair electrical, mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic systems, and support continuous operations on second shift. A high school diploma or equivalent and 4+ years of manufacturing maintenance experience are required.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent or apprenticeship completion.
• 4+ years in manufacturing with hydraulic, pneumatic, mechanical skills and HVAC.
• PLC experience preferred and ability to work flexible schedule.

Responsibilities

• Install and maintain production machines and plant equipment.
• Troubleshoot PLCs, AC/DC drives, and control systems.
• Perform preventive maintenance and emergency repairs.
• Read manuals and work orders to service equipment.
• Use hand and power tools and test equipment.
• Handle special projects as required.
