Job summary

Jaeger-Unitek Sealing Solutions, Inc. is seeking a motivated maintenance technician to perform a wide range of maintenance tasks in a team-oriented production environment. The role emphasizes safety, quality and productivity while supporting customer satisfaction.

The starting pay is $26.63/hr, with second shift Monday–Friday 2pm–10pm; training on first shift. Ability to read blueprints and use machine shop tools is required.

Qualifications

• Must have or be able to obtain basic electrical certification.
• Experience with mechanical repair and preventive maintenance preferred.
• Ability to read machine specifications and schematics.

Responsibilities

• Assist with repairing a broad range of mechanical problems and preventive maintenance.
• Fabricate and machine parts from drawings, sketches, and prints.
• Maintain technical knowledge by reading specs and attending classes as needed.
• Assist in installation and removal of equipment and implement production-driven changes.
• Perform maintenance on equipment including extruders, laminators, and injection molding machines, plus building maintenance.
• Assist in designing and building equipment and fixtures.
• Read and interpret blueprints and schematic diagrams.
• Perform die building and repair parts using machine shop equipment.
