The Maintenance Technician performs preventive maintenance on warehouse and production equipment, troubleshoots systems, and supports on-call shifts while upholding OSHA safety standards and company values.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent experience.
• Advanced mechanical abilities and general facility maintenance.
• Strong electrical and PLC skills.
• Computer skills for operating Warehouse Management System (WMS).
• 2-3 years of forklift experience preferred.
• 3-5 years of manufacturing field experience.

Responsibilities

• Performs general maintenance and inspection on equipment in warehouse and production areas.
• Troubleshoot and repair building systems and manufacturing equipment (electrical, plumbing, HVAC, etc.).
• Operate forklift, pallet jack and related equipment as needed.
• Follow OSHA safety regulations and safe work practices.
• Move inventory manually and with mechanical equipment as required.

May also be required to perform product handler and forklift operator duties; promote and implement the company's core values and excellence in customer service; responsible for maintaining strong relationships with internal customers.Responsibilities:Performs general maintenance and inspection on equipment for warehouse such as conveyor systems, sortation systems, Lift tables, scanners, forklifts, pallet jacks, handcarts, safety harnesses, etc.Troubleshoot and perform routine maintenance, installation, and repairs on a variety of building systems and appliances, manufacturing equipment, including, plumbing, HVAC, painting, carpentry, and electrical.Apply proficient skills in two or more of the following trades: electrical, carpentry, plumbing, HVAC, painting, etc. to ensure quality maintained facilities and equipment.Subject to on-call coverage shift changesParticipate in routine inspections (including QC, preventative maintenance, machinery, etc.).Perform general maintenance and cleaning of common areas, office areas, maintenance shop, warehouse, etc.Demonstrate the appropriate and safe use of standard hand and power tools, equipment, and machinery.Comply with all OSHA safety regulations, local applicable laws regarding health, safety, or environmentUnderstand and follow safe work practices for all trades, including but not limited to: Lockout Tag-out, Confined Space Entry, use of hazardous chemicals, use of Personal Protective Equipment, Ladder Safety, and working from Elevated Surfaces.Move inventory to various locations manually and by operating mechanical equipment; including forklift, pallet jack, and handcart.Maintains a focus for self and team on continuous learning that will enhance skill sets and growth opportunities.Demonstrates a commitment to C&F Enterprises, Inc.'s core values.The position responsibilities outlined above are in no way to be construed as all-encompassing.Other duties, responsibilities, and qualifications may be required and/or assigned as necessary.Qualifications:A high school diploma or equivalent experienceAdvanced mechanical abilities and general facility maintenanceStrong Electrical and PLC SkillsComputer skills desired for operating warehouse management system (WMS)2-3 years of forklift experience, strongly preferred3-5 years of manufacturing field experienceCompensations and Benefits:We offer a wide range of career opportunities with excellent benefits.
