Job Description

Automation Personnel Services is seeking a 2nd shift Maintenance Technician for a food manufacturing facility in Chattanooga, TN. This role supports all production processes and facility equipment, with primary duties including preventative maintenance, machine troubleshooting, and project support. It is a full-time, temp-to-hire position.

Pay range: $22.00 - $26.00 per hour (based on experience)

Shifts and Schedules

3:00pm-11:30am, Monday-Friday. Schedule may vary depending on maintenance needs.

Maintenance Technician Duties and Responsibilities

• Maintain, repair, troubleshoot, and upgrade equipment and facilities.
• Analyze equipment and operational problems, and take corrective actions.
• Lubricate equipment and perform preventative maintenance checks.
• Assist with equipment change-overs and clearing jams during production.
• Assist with new equipment installation.
• Support troubleshooting and training of new maintenance staff.
• Perform light electrical work, including basic troubleshooting with a volt/ohm meter and amp probe.

Skills and Qualifications

• At least 3 years of maintenance experience.
• Experience operating forklifts and scissor lifts.
• Ability to read mechanical drawings.
• Basic computer skills for inventory and equipment management.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
