Job summary

MegaMex Foods LLC is seeking a 2nd shift maintenance technician to perform preventive maintenance and repair for packaging, processing, and facility equipment. You will diagnose and fix electrical, mechanical, plumbing, and HVAC systems, ensuring safe and efficient operation.

Responsibilities include maintaining maintenance logs, supporting audits, and working with teams across departments to solve issues and uphold safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Industrial maintenance certification is preferred.
• Able to work in a team or individually and follow PSM and company policies.
• Maintain PM paperwork for in-house audits and annual inspections.

Responsibilities

• Performs preventative maintenance, mechanical and electrical repair and troubleshooting of facility equipment.
• Maintains logs and documents operating conditions, performance and problems.
• Complies with safety rules, GMPs and USDA regulations.
• Diagnoses and maintains plumbing, electrical and HVAC systems.
• Repairs and maintains machinery, pumps, conveyors and motors per diagrams and manuals.
• Welds to repair parts and assembles new equipment.
• Works on PLC controls and VFD drives; interprets instrumentation.
