Job summary

Amrize is seeking a Maintenance Tech II for the 2nd shift in the Saginaw, MI area. This full-time, hourly role focuses on maintaining and repairing manufacturing equipment within a large-scale production environment.

The position runs 2:00pm–10:30pm and offers comprehensive benefits including medical, dental, vision, and retirement plans. Candidates should be able to read blueprints, work with industrial controls, and stay safety-focused.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years industrial plant maintenance or electrical experience is highly desired.
• Ability to read and interpret instructions and operations manuals and follow step-by-step instructions.
• Must have experience with Industrial Controls.
• Mechanically inclined and able to perform physical labor, lifting and operating machinery.
• Ability to read blueprints and experienced with fabrication.
• Excellent safety and attendance record.
• Must be able to work overtime when required.
• Self-motivated and able to multi-task.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair manufacturing equipment.
• Operate a variety of hand and power tools to complete tasks.
• Troubleshoot and repair machinery.
• Maintain facility and associated equipment.
• Work with maintenance vendors.
• Keep work area in a clean and orderly condition.
• Complete and submit company purchase requisitions.
• Install equipment and electrical components and test to ensure proper functioning.
• Ensure all machinery follows federal, state, and company safety standards.
