Job summary

TreeHouse Foods in Marietta, GA is hiring a Black Tea Mechanic to maintain, troubleshoot, repair and improve machines used to package tea products. The role supports safe, reliable production while adhering to GMP and safety standards.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years hands-on maintenance experience in manufacturing or industrial environment.
• Experience maintaining high-speed packaging equipment in food or pharma.
• Experience with overhead box conveyor systems and bulk handling equipment.
• Ability to read machine manuals, SOPs, drawings and blueprints.
• Knowledge of GMPs and Lockout/Tagout procedures and safety practices.
• Electrical troubleshooting with multimeters and sensors is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on high-speed packaging equipment and supporting systems.
• Use power tools and shop machinery to complete repairs and improvements.
• Troubleshoot mechanical issues and coordinate with production teams to resolve problems.
• Read manuals, SOPs, drawings, and blueprints to support maintenance tasks.
• Assemble and disassemble bearings, gears, sprockets, and related components.
• Follow GMP, safety rules, and Lockout/Tagout procedures.
• Support continuous improvement for reliability and efficiency.
