Job summary

KENT WORLDWIDE is seeking a 2nd Shift Maintenance Supervisor at our Columbus, Mississippi location to oversee the industrial maintenance program and lead a team of maintenance personnel. You will resolve mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic problems and maintain equipment and facilities to high standards.

The role emphasizes preventive maintenance, safety, and compliance with food safety programs. A High School Diploma is preferred, with a preference for an Industrial Maintenance degree.

Qualifications

• Preference for degree in Industrial Maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and lead a maintenance program covering electrical and mechanical systems.
• Set shift schedules and maintenance assignments.
• Develop maintenance policies and procedures.
• Maintain ideal plant conditions and standards.
• Supervise maintenance workers and contract staff.
• Ensure OSHA safety practices are followed.
• Ensure Food Safety compliance.
• Respond to equipment breakdowns promptly.
• Diagnose faults in equipment and repair mechanical/electrical issues.
• Manage supplies, tools and equipment; interact with suppliers and customers.
