Qualifications

• Follow safety regulations per OSHA and company policies.
• Diagnose mechanical problems by observation and measurements.
• Learn production processes and equipment knowledge.
• Complete daily tasks independently.
• Perform troubleshooting to improve processes and repairs.
• Dismantle devices and inspect parts using hoists and tools.
• Measure parts with calipers and micrometers.
• Contain downtime by preventive maintenance monitoring.
• Maintain equipment inventory and procurement planning.
• Apply basic electrical skills using a multimeter.
• Document actions and communicate irregularities.
• Maintain clean, safe work environment; adhere to food safety standards (BRC, SQF, USDA).
• Remain in role for 1 year before advancement opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Follow all safety regulations required by Company and OSHA.
• Locate sources of problems by observing mechanical devices in operation; listening for problems; using precision instruments.
• Learn process of production and equipment knowledge.
• Complete daily tasks without assistance.
• Initiate troubleshooting to improve the process and repairs.
• Remove defective parts by dismantling devices; use hoists and hand/power tools.
• Inspect parts with rulers, calipers, micrometers to determine changes in dimensions.
• Inform production of preventive maintenance techniques to reduce downtime.
• Maintain equipment inventories and anticipate needed parts and supplies.
• Apply basic electrical skills and use a multimeter.
• Document actions and communicate irregularities to ensure continuity.
• Respect food safety requirements per BRC, SQF, USDA.
