Merrill Steel is seeking a Maintenance Mechanic II for the 2nd shift in Springfield, MO. The role focuses on preventive maintenance, repair of mechanical and electrical systems, and basic fabrication.

You will operate cranes and forklifts and contribute to a safe, efficient production environment. The ideal candidate has at least one year of maintenance experience, basic welding and machining skills, and a willingness to adhere to safety and quality standards.

Competenze

• One year maintenance experience or equivalent preferred.
• Basic knowledge of industrial electrical circuitry.
• Ability to perform general steel fabrication.
• Pass class II certification for maintenance is required.

Mansioni

• Perform routine preventive maintenance on equipment.
• Operate cranes and forklift to move materials.
• Inspect, diagnose, and repair mechanical/electrical faults.
• Assist with basic pipefitting and plumbing tasks as needed.
