Dextech in Dexter, MI is hiring a Maintenance Technician to repair and maintain cold heading and forming machinery. You will diagnose, repair, and optimize equipment reliability, perform preventive maintenance, and support uptime on second shift. Training on first shift as needed; candidates must lift up to 100 lbs and work safely.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Technical training or apprenticeship preferred.
• Strong mechanical aptitude with experience repairing industrial machinery.
• Experience with hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical systems.

Responsabilités

• Welding and fabrication of machine tools.
• Perform preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on cold heading machines and related equipment.
• Diagnose mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic issues using appropriate tools.
• Rebuild and align critical machine components such as transfer mechanisms, punches, dies, and feeds.
• Install, adjust, and replace machine parts to maintain optimal performance.
• Read and interpret mechanical drawings and manuals.
• Conduct machine changeovers and assist with setup optimization.
• Maintain maintenance logs and records.
• Ensure safety, quality, and production standards.
