Job summary

AJ Manufacturing Co., Inc. in Elmhurst, IL is seeking entry-level machine operators for the 2nd shift.

No prior machine operation experience is required as training is provided; the role involves operating robotic machines to produce machined parts. The position offers an after-hours shift 5:00 PM to 5:00 AM with overtime after 40 hours, competitive hourly pay of $18–$24, and benefits including medical, dental, vision, life, STD/LTD, 401k and generous PTO.

Responsibilities

• Produces machined parts by operating robotic machines
• Maintaining quality and safety standards, keeping records; maintaining equipment and supplies.
• Verifies settings by measuring positions, first run part, and sample work pieces.
• Monitor & report production activity within the assigned manufacturing departments to achieve a level of daily throughput
• Verifies conformance of production parts to specifications.
• Analyzes and resolves work problems or assists workers in solving work problems.
• Be responsive to process and equipment deficiencies to maintain scrap levels at or above standard.
• Able to identify and report problems with machinery, tooling, and processes.
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment in all production areas.
• Other duties as assigned.
