Job summary

Elmet Technologies is seeking a 2nd Shift Machine Operator for grinders and saws in Coldwater, Michigan. You will learn to set up and operate equipment to produce molybdenum bar products, cross-training across saws, grinders, and lathes as needed.

You will be trained to measure materials, follow production orders, and identify materials throughout processing, with emphasis on safety and quality. Benefits start day one.

Qualifications

• Hands-on manufacturing role experience preferred.
• Willingness to learn multiple machines across saws, grinders, mills and lathes.
• Ability to read and measure with basic tools.
• Paying close attention to detail and safety.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate assigned production equipment.
• Measure materials and ensure correct production outputs.
• Follow production orders and track materials throughout production.
• Identify finished production in Global Shop.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area.
• Learn additional machines and processes as you gain experience.
