Job summary

Kelly Services is seeking a Machine Operator for the Hastings, NE area on 2nd shift. The role involves operating and setting up machinery, performing quality checks, and maintaining equipment per safety standards. Experience in manufacturing, basic shop math, blueprint reading, and forklift certification are valued.

The position is a W2 contract, with potential conversion after six months. Compensation includes hourly base rate plus a 15% shift differential, with OT as needed and full benefits

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred with 1+ years in industrial/manufacturing environments.
• Experience with reading blueprints and using precision measuring tools.
• Basic computer literacy and accurate data recording.

Responsibilities

• Operate, set up, and maintain manual or computerized equipment following quality and safety rules.
• Move materials with forklifts and power lift trucks to keep production flowing.
• Read route sheets and blueprints; assist in training new operators as needed.
• Follow all procedures and safety policies and complete assigned duties.
