Job summary

Reifel Industries in Pioneer, OH is seeking a Dip Spin / Plating Operator for 2nd shift to operate and monitor coating and plating equipment, maintain process parameters, perform quality checks, and troubleshoot equipment or coating issues.

The ideal candidate is mechanically inclined, detail‑oriented, safety‑conscious and comfortable in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Experience with E-Coat, plating or coating systems is preferred but not required—we're willing to train the right person.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 1 year forklift experience preferred.
• Ability to read and follow written procedures and quality alerts.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Ability to troubleshoot problems and work independently.
• Team player with reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Operate, monitor, and troubleshoot E-Coat and plating equipment.
• Inspect parts before and after coating for quality, coverage, and adhesion.
• Identify, tag, and separate non-conforming parts.
• Respond to quality alerts and adjust processes accordingly.
• Maintain production, chemical, and maintenance records.
• Follow safety procedures, PPE requirements and quality standards.
• Keep a clean and organized work area.
• Collaborate with Quality and Production to resolve coating and process issues.
• Assist with training and cross-training of team members.
• Support continuous improvement efforts.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Dip Spin / Plating Operator - 2nd Shift

Pay: $19.00-$23.00/hour + $1.00/hour 2nd Shift Premium
Must be available to train on 1st Shift for a minimum of 2 weeks

About the Position

Reifel Industries is looking for a motivated and dependable Dip Spin / Plating Operator to join our team. This position is responsible for operating and monitoring coating and plating equipment, maintaining process parameters, performing quality checks, and troubleshooting equipment or coating issues.

The ideal candidate is mechanically inclined, detail-oriented, safety-conscious, and comfortable working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Experience with E-Coat, plating, or coating systems is preferred but not required-we're willing to train the right candidate.

What You'll Do

• Operate, monitor, and troubleshoot E-Coat and plating equipment
• Inspect parts before and after coating for quality, coverage, and adhesion

What We're Looking For

• High School Diploma or GED required
• Minimum 1 year of forklift experience preferred

• Ability to work effectively as part of a team
• Reliable transportation/personal vehicle required
• Strong attendance and dependability
• Ability to pass a drug screen during the 90-day probationary period and participate in random testing according to company policy
