Job summary

Carolina Container LLC is seeking an experienced Assistant Operator for the 2nd shift in Prince George, VA. You will set up and operate machines, feed materials, and ensure product quality meets specifications in a fast-paced corrugated manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities include inventory accuracy, safety adherence, and assisting two-man feeds as needed. Candidates must be 18+ and able to work a flexible schedule.

Qualifications

• Manufacturing experience in the corrugated industry preferred.
• Must be 18 years of age.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule.
• Ability to read a tape measure with speed and accuracy.
• Ability to work in a fast paced environment.
• Knowledge of equipment design and capabilities that can be translated into efficient operation.
• Read and interpret product layout and production specifications.

Responsibilities

• Set up & operate of various machines.
• Run material through machine according to company specifications.
• Ensure correct materials are used to meet customer specifications.
• Ensure all inventory entries are complete and accurate.
• Inspect and maintain quality of product.
