Job summary

AJ Manufacturing Co., Inc. in Elmhurst, IL is seeking a dependable team member for the evening shift to operate robotic machines and contribute to high-quality production in a fast-paced automotive tooling environment.

No prior machine operation experience is required as training will be provided; candidates should have good attention to detail, the ability to follow instructions, and be able to stand for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Produces machined parts by operating robotic machines.
• Maintaining quality and safety standards, keeping records; maintaining equipment and supplies.
• Verifies settings by measuring positions, first run part, and sample work pieces.
• Monitor & report production activity within the assigned manufacturing departments to achieve a level of daily throughput.
• Verifies conformance of production parts to specifications.
• Analyzes and resolves work problems or assists workers in solving work problems.
• Be responsive to process and equipment deficiencies to maintain scrap levels at or above standard.
• Able to identify and report problems with machinery, tooling, and processes.
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment in all production areas.
• Other duties as assigned.

Work Hours: 5:00PM-5:00AM (overtime for after 40 hours)

Duties/Responsibilities:
