Job summary

Wayne Farms LLC seeks a Live Haul Truck Driver for 2nd shift in Georgia (Moultrie). The role drives a commercial vehicle to transport live poultry from growers to processing facilities and may move poultry feed as needed. You must meet CDL, DOT regulations, and safety standards while maintaining accurate logs and secure loads.

The position demands physical readiness, the ability to work nights and weekends, and compliance with company policies. Previous poultry transport experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Minimum 21 years of age.
• Valid Class A CDL with 1 year verifiable driving record.
• Knowledge of Department of Transportation laws and regulations.
• Ability to read and write legibly.
• Ability to work unsupervised and be self-motivated.
• Sound work ethic, honesty and moral character.

Responsibilities

• Comply with all Department of Transportation regulations.
• Perform and document pre-trip inspections (tires, oil, fuel, lights, brakes, hoses, etc.).
• Assist with loading and unloading trailer as necessary.
• Ensure secure load before movement.
• Maintain proper documentation (equipment, time, trips, weight, etc.).
• Clean and wash truck as necessary.
• Report truck and equipment maintenance issues to supervisor.
• Comply with all DOT safety rules and company policies and local, state and federal regulations.
• All other duties as assigned.
