Spherion Williamsport is seeking a Laundry Operator for 2nd shift in Williamsport, PA. The role is entry-level with no prior experience required and is a Temp to Hire opportunity. Immediate start with a full-time schedule of 40 hours per week.

Responsibilities include sorting and washing hospital linens, operating washers and dryers, and packing finished bundles for delivery. Benefits include health, dental, vision, and life insurance.

Responsibilities

• Sort used hospital linens, gowns, and towels by fabric type and wash instructions.
• Load and unload commercial washers and dryers safely.
• Feed clean sheets and linens into automated ironing and folding machines.
• Inspect items for tears, wear, or stubborn stains to make sure only top-quality linens are sent out.
• Fold, stack, and bundle clean linens neatly according to customer orders.
• Pack finished bundles into clean delivery carts and label them for shipment.
• Clean your work area, sweep floors, clear lint traps, and help keep the plant safe and tidy.
• Work closely with teammates and follow all safety and infection control rules.
