Job summary

First Solar in Perrysburg, OH is seeking an Engineering Test Support role on the 2nd shift. You will support developmental tests on the manufacturing line or in a lab, operate processes, follow instructions, and perform basic data analysis using JMP/SQL after training.

Qualifications include a High School Diploma or equivalent with 2 years of technical manufacturing or lab experience, plus proficiency with Word/Excel and basic metrology tools. Travel is not required.

Qualifications

• Follow verbal and written instructions/test plans.
• Average ability to use tools and operating equipment (micrometers, multimeters, power supplies, data logger).
• Basic computer skills (Word, Excel).
• Able to run JMP scripts and analyze simple datasets using JMP and SQL application upon training.

Responsibilities

• Ensure tests are completed per schedule including sample acquiring, testing and data entry.
• Communicate abnormal findings on product or testing equipment immediately.
• Assist in tasks or jobs assigned by supervisor.
• Suggest improvements for productivity, safety, or performance.
