POLARIS Laboratories is hiring a 2nd Shift Laboratory Technician - Level I in Houston, TX. The role focuses on generating high quality data with laboratory instruments while following test methods and safety standards.

The candidate will work in a fast-paced production environment, maintain accuracy in data entry and documentation, and support continuous improvement and quality systems within a collaborative team.

Qualifications

• GED or High School Diploma required.
• Fast-paced production laboratory environment experience.
• Complete 90-day Core Document Training with POLARIS training.
• Internal candidates require 12 months with no written warnings.
• Satisfactory 90-day review on file.
• Team-oriented with attention to safety and quality.

Responsibilities

• Uses resources to achieve outcomes by entering data in LIMS and using ADP/JIRA/Microsoft Teams as needed.
• Meets daily production targets while maintaining quality and troubleshooting instrument issues.
• Supports the quality system and adheres to work instructions; supports audits.
• Supports safety program by wearing PPE and reporting incidents.
• Collaborates with cross-functional teams and contributes to Lean and 5S initiatives.
