Responsibilities

• Maintain building security and safety by securing office and building entrances.
• Monitor facilities for unauthorized occupants and report security concerns; turn off lights and set alarms as required.
• Clean, sanitize, and maintain restrooms; replenish soap and paper products.
• Collect, remove, and dispose of trash and waste materials.
• Clean and maintain floors through sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and other methods.
• Follow safety procedures for chemical cleaners and powered equipment; operate tools and equipment safely.
• Notify management of maintenance issues and needed repairs.
• Monitor inventory levels and request cleaning supplies and equipment as needed.
• Clean blinds, glass surfaces, windows, partitions, and mirrors.
• Clean and polish furniture and fixtures for a professional appearance.
• Dust and wipe furniture, walls, equipment, machinery, and surfaces.
• Empty ash receptacles where applicable.
• Sort and handle recyclable materials per company procedures.
• In medical facilities, safely handle, transport, and dispose of biohazardous waste per regulations.
