ABM Industries is seeking a reliable Janitorial Cleaner to perform a variety of cleaning duties across assigned facilities, ensuring a clean, safe, and orderly environment.

You will sweep, mop, vacuum, sanitize restrooms, handle waste, and help with event setup while following safety procedures and company policies. This role is ideal for someone with attention to detail and a commitment to quality; prior janitorial experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous janitorial/custodial experience is a plus.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
• Familiarity with cleaning chemicals and safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Sweep, mop, vacuum, dust, and polish floors and surfaces.
• Clean and sanitize restrooms; replenish supplies.
• Empty trash and recycling per policies.
• Clean windows and glass surfaces.
• Maintain and store cleaning equipment properly.
• Report maintenance issues or safety hazards to the supervisor.
• Assist with setup/cleanup for meetings or events.
• Follow safety procedures and company protocols.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, and polishing floors and surfaces
• Clean and sanitize restrooms, replenish supplies, and ensure hygiene standards are met
• Empty trash and recycling bins andwastein accordance withcompany policies
• Clean windows, mirrors, and other glass surfaces
• Maintain and store cleaning equipment and supplies properly
• Report any maintenance issues, safety hazards, or supply shortages to the supervisor
• Assistwith setup and cleanup for meetings, events, or special projects as needed
• Follow all safety procedures and company protocols related to cleaning and sanitation
