Job summary

MEDLOG Cold Storage is a leader in cold chain logistics in the United States, focusing on safe handling and accurate inventory. The Inventory Control Associate role supports receipt, storage, and shipment with precise counts, cycle counts, and ongoing adjustments.

You will work on a 3:30pm–midnight shift, Monday through Friday, in a hands-on warehouse environment. Responsibilities include learning the WMS, reviewing discrepancies, and ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED; 6–12 months related experience or 1–2 years inventory control.
• Able to stand/walk and lift up to 50 pounds regularly.
• Detail-oriented with strong math and counting abilities.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and willing to learn WMS.
• Ability to work overtime when required.

Responsibilities

• Perform cycle counts and maintain accurate records.
• Review inventory adjustment reports and discrepancies.
• Learn and use WMS system to adjust inventory.
• Ensure products and facility are in good order.
• Follow MEDLOG Safety, OSHA, and BRCGS requirements.

Position Summary

Shift: 3:30pm-Midnight Monday-Friday

Perform inventory control responsibilities by managing, tracking and counting inventory to maintain accurate records for efficient receipt and shipment of goods. The accuracy of this position is critical to a high level of customer service.

Primary Tasks & Responsibilities:

• Ability to stand, walk, and lift.
• Comfortable working from heights on man-up lift.
• Must be able to work independently
• Comply with MEDLOG Safety and Compliance, OSHA, and the facility food safety commitment as outlined in the BRCGS requirements.
• Perform cycle counts on an ongoing basis.
• Review inventory adjustment reports.
• Review adjustments for over, short and damage issues.
• Ability to learn WMS system and ability to make accurate adjustments within the system.
• Communication discrepancy trends to facility leadership.
• Ensure products and facility are in good order.
• Clean up wrap, broken wood, trash, etc.
• Fix or remove damaged product.
• Report broken pallets to shift leadership.
• Perform other duties and responsibilities assigned by manager.

Education/Experience

High School diploma or general education degree (GED) with 6-12 months related experience or an equivalent combination of relevant education and experience with 1-2 years of inventory control and/or cycle counting.

Knowledge & Skill Requirements

• Detail-oriented.
• Ability to fluently use Microsoft applications.
• Ability to lift at least 50 pounds and be constantly active in the warehouse environment.
• Ability to understand written and verbal instructions.
• Excellent math skills.
• Good customer service skills such as listening and communicating with team members.
• Must be able to work overtime as needed based on business necessity.
• In case of absence: This position has redundancy through several employees and a cross training of Inventory.
• Ability to fill in within other operational roles as needed.
