Job summary

US Farathane is seeking an experienced Process Technician to ensure machines run and processes stay under control at all times. The role is based in Auburn Hills, MI on 2nd shift with a $0.75/hr differential, and involves starting up machines, responding to alarms, and ensuring optimal efficiency.

The applicant should have plastic injection molding experience and familiarity with robot controls. The position includes duties spanning machine setup, troubleshooting, die changes, and continuous

Qualifications

• Minimum three years of plastic injection molding experience.
• Experience with mold set-ups and troubleshooting.
• Familiar with state-of-the-art controls on machines and robots.

Responsibilities

• Start up and run production machines.
• Respond to machine, robot, and equipment alarms.
• Ensure machines and robots run at optimum efficiency.
• Troubleshoot machine, mold and material problems.
• Report difficulties to Production Supervisor for attention.
• Complete process verification and related sheets as required.
• Perform die change activities not done by a Die Setter.
• Maintain cleanliness and proper disposal of purges.
• Suggest continuous improvement ideas.
• Follow OSHA and safety rules and company policies.
