Job summary

BlueGreen Alliance Inc is seeking a production/operator associate in a manufacturing environment. Responsibilities include processing orders, operating industrial sewing machines, ensuring accurate descriptions and quantities, and maintaining a clean, safe work area.

The role requires reading and writing in English, physical capability to lift up to 40 pounds, and knowledge of Flexaust materials. Overtime may be required based on production schedules.

Qualifications

• Must be able to lift up to 40 pounds.
• The ability to read and write in English.
• A thorough knowledge of Flexaust products and materials.
• Basic tape reading knowledge and basic mathematical skills as well as ability to use other tools as required.

Responsibilities

• Work from factory orders, cut hose to tight tolerances as specified on orders and attach end finishes per work order instructions.
• Complete factory paperwork per company guidelines.
• Operate industrial sewing machines.
• Maintain a safe work area and promptly report safety hazards to the safety committee or supervisor.
• Keep area clean and organized within the department.
• Move hose from stock area as needed.
• Perform any other duties as assigned by the supervisor or management.

Working Conditions:

Manufacturing plant; will be required to wear personal protective equipment per policy and may be requested to work overtime per production schedule.

Qualifications:

1. Must be able to lift up to 40 pounds.

4. Basic tape reading knowledge and basic mathematical skills as well as ability to use other tools as required.

Typical Duties and Essential Responsibilities:

1. Working from factory orders, cuts hose to tight tolerances as specified on individual orders, attaches special end finishes per instruction with tolerance and specifications of the work order.
2. Complete factory paperwork per company guidelines.
3. Operate industrial sewing machines
4. Responsible for safe work area, including prompt reporting of any safety hazards to the safety committee or supervisor.
5. Responsible for housekeeping and organization of your area and related areas in department.
6. Remove hose from stock area.

8. Performs any other duties assigned by immediate supervisor or other management as required.
