Job summary

Unified Defense is seeking an Industrial Maintenance Technician II to join our maintenance team in Byron, GA. The role focuses on preventive maintenance, repairs, and troubleshooting to keep our facility running efficiently on 2nd shift.

Candidates should have advanced knowledge of 3-phase power, reading schematics, and strong organizational skills. The position requires prior maintenance experience and the ability to schedule maintenance activities, log repairs, and operate all equipment

Qualifications

• Previous experience in maintenance or related field required.
• Advanced understanding of 3-phase power systems and electrical systems.
• Ability to schedule and perform preventive maintenance activities effectively.
• Proficiency in reading schematics and blueprints for troubleshooting and repairs.
• Operate all equipment and machines safely and efficiently.
• Strong organizational skills to maintain spare parts and tools inventory.
• Experience recording and logging maintenance activities for documentation.
• Effective troubleshooting skills to diagnose and resolve equipment issues.
• Ability to prioritize and manage emergency repairs to minimize downtime.
• Proficiency in using a multimeter for electrical diagnostics.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization in the work area.
