Job summary
Shaw Industries in Cartersville, GA is seeking an Industrial Electrician on 2nd shift (4PM-12AM) to maintain, troubleshoot, and improve electrical and control systems across manufacturing operations. You will work with motors, MCCs, drives, PLCs, robotics, and automation to support production, quality, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Responsibilities include diagnosing issues, performing preventive maintenance, documenting findings, and collaborating with maintenance and operations teams
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Experience in electrical maintenance and industrial electrician roles.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics.
Responsibilities
- Maintain, repair, and install electrical and control systems for manufacturing equipment.
- Diagnose root causes; read schematics; perform testing and verification of repairs.
- Perform preventive and predictive maintenance; use CMMS to manage work orders.
- Support electrical upgrades, PLC hardware installation, and automation improvements.
- Collaborate with maintenance, operations, and engineering to ensure safety and reliability.
