PrideStaff is seeking 2nd shift High Reach forklift operators for a large distribution facility in the Joliet area. These positions are in a DRY building (no cold storage). TEMP-TO-HIRE and WEEKLY PAYCHECK; INSURANCE AVAILABLE.

2ND SHIFT 3:00pm - 11:30pm with a possible 11:00 AM – 7:30 PM option. Must be able to operate a stand-up reach forklift and lift up to 40 lbs, following all safety procedures. Steel toe boots required.

Qualifikationen

• 6 months to 1 year of High Reach forklift experience.
• Experience with Crown or Pacer equipment preferred.
• Basic math skills.
• Able to work in temperatures from -20°F to 100°F while wearing PPE.
• Must be able to lift at least 40 lbs.
• Flexible schedule including weekends.
• Steel toe boots required.

Aufgaben

• CASE PICKING - full/partial pallet picking, and full case picking.
• Put away palletized units by lifting forks for placement into racks above floor height.
• Pick palletized units out of rack locations above floor height and set up for outbound shipment.
• Record materials, weight, counts, and condition of items via RF system.
• Load and unload materials on and off pallets, skids, or lifting device.
• Complete daily forklift maintenance/check sheet.
• Monitor battery charge, maintain and clean batteries, and leave equipment at the charging station.
• Work with other machinery and material handling equipment.

PrideStaff is seeking 2nd shift High Reach truck operators for a large distribution facility in the Joliet area. These positions would be in a DRY building (no cold storage)!

TEMP-TO-HIRE! WEEKLY PAYCHECK! INSURANCE AVAILABLE!

2ND SHIFT3:00pm - 11:30pm*
$22.00 per hour + $0.75 shift differential = $22.75 per hour

Flexible Schedule Option: 11:00 AM – 7:30 PM
*Note: Candidates on this schedule must complete initial training on 2nd shift

Candidates must be able to use a stand-up reach forklift to move products, equipment, and materials while following all regulatory and company safety standards, policies, and procedures.

KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• The primary duty will be CASE PICKING - full/partial pallet picking, and full case picking
• Put away palletized units by lifting forks for placement into racks above floor height
• Pick palletized units out of rack locations above floor height and set up for outbound shipment
• Choose and record materials, weight, counts, and condition of food items via Radio Frequency (RF) system
• Load and unload materials on and off pallets, skids, or lifting device
• Complete daily forklift maintenance/check sheet
• Monitor battery charge, maintain, and clean batteries, and leave material handling equipment at the proper charging station

ADDITIONAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Work with other machinery and material handling equipment

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS (KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES)

• At least 6 months-1 year recent relevant HIGH REACH experience
• Preferred experience with Crown / Pacer equipment
• Basic math skills
• MUST be able to work in temperatures as low as -20 Fahrenheitin cold storage sites or up to 100 Fahrenheitin dry storage sites while wearing company provided personal protective equipment and freezer gear
• Must be able to lift a minimum of 40 lbs.
• Ability to work a flexible work schedule and shift, including weekends if needed
• Must be comfortable with various noise levels, at times, can be loud
• Steel toe boots required!
