Job summary

Howmet Fastening Systems in City of Industry, California, is seeking a 2nd Shift Processing Tech III for Heat Treat. You will operate VACUDRAW and vacuum furnaces, monitor instruments, and perform hardness tests while following Heat Treat procedures.

Requires 3+ years of heat treat experience and the ability to read blueprints and English instructions. Responsibilities include documentation, quality checks, and readiness to learn new procedures; a strong safety mindset and teamwork are essential

Qualifications

• Must read and interpret English documents, blueprints and work instructions.
• Ability to read and write reports and correspondence.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States; no visa sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Operate heat treat processes and equipment per procedures.
• Monitor furnaces and verify instrumentation as directed.
• Inspect parts for FOD and ensure proper quality documentation.
• Perform Rockwell hardness testing when applicable.
• Complete first piece verification and print process sheets HTPI.
