Zusammenfassung

Firelands Fabrication is seeking a General Laborer / Saw & Part Cutter to join our fabrication team in New London, Ohio. The role focuses on operating band saws and cutting equipment to manufacture parts per specifications in a controlled facility.

Responsibilities include operating hydraulic punches, plasma cutting, grinding, painting and loading/unloading while adhering to safety and quality standards. Forklift experience a plus.

Qualifikationen

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Proven experience in a manufacturing or similar environment.
• Ability to operate saws and cutting equipment to specifications.
• Use of powered and powder-actuated tools and tow motor.
• Occasional lifting up to 50 pounds; frequent lifting up to 25 pounds.

Aufgaben

• Operate horizontal band saws and cutting equipment to cut metal, plastic, and other materials to specified dimensions.
• Operate Hydraulic punch/shear equipment (Ironworker).
• Operate Plasma plate cutting equipment.
• Grind and wire wheel steel plate.
• Operate Brake Press.
• Paint steel.
• Load/unload trucks.
• Other duties as assigned.
