Job summary

Tyson Foods is hiring for an entry level general labor role in Texas. The position involves working in Fresh Processing areas such as DSI, Debone, Deli lines and Evisceration with a focus on safety and policy adherence.

Shifts run Monday-Thursday with a Friday schedule, pay is $17.30 per hour, and the role requires standing long hours, lifting heavy items, and passing a drug screen. This is a physical, hands-on position in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Be able to push, pull, carry, and/or lift up to 50 pounds for some positions.
• Must be able to stand 8-10 hours a day on hard surfaces.
• Able to perform repetitive motion for extended periods.
• Must wear PPE including frocks, gloves, ear protection, hair net and beard guard.
• Must pass drug screening.

Responsibilities

• Entry level non-skilled general labor while maintaining a safe work environment.
• Work in Fresh Processing areas including DSI, Debone, Deli lines and Evisceration.

Skills

Lifting up to 50 pounds
