Job summary

FCS Facility Services is seeking a reliable General Cleaner for a full-time 2nd shift in Fairfield, OH. The role includes cleaning and sanitizing facilities, restocking supplies, and following safety procedures to deliver high-quality service.

Schedule: Monday–Thursday, 2:30 PM–1:00 AM, 40 hours/week. Pay rate commonly $15.50 per hour with benefits including health, vision, and PTO. Must pass background check and drug screening prior to start date.

Qualifications

• Dependable, punctual, and detail-oriented.
• Ability to follow instructions and established cleaning procedures.
• Must successfully complete a pre-employment background check and drug screening.

Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize floors, walls, windows, furniture, fixtures, and other areas using appropriate cleaning products and equipment.
• Dust, wipe, and polish surfaces to maintain a clean environment.
• Vacuum carpets and mop hard-surface floors, including corners and hard-to-reach areas.
• Clean and disinfect restrooms, including toilets, sinks, mirrors, countertops, and fixtures.
• Replenish restroom supplies such as soap, towels, and toilet paper.
• Empty trash, replace liners, and dispose of waste and recyclables.
• Monitor and restock cleaning and restroom supplies as needed.
• Operate cleaning equipment safely and follow PPE requirements.
