Mitsubishi Power Americas in Savannah, GA is hiring Gas Turbine Technicians (2nd Shift) to join our high-performance team. This hands-on role involves building large-scale gas turbine rotors, using precision tools and millwright skills, with training on first shift.

You’ll assemble and maintain heavy rotating equipment, interpret drawings, and collaborate with engineers to improve processes while ensuring top-tier quality and safety.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required and a technical certificate is preferred.
• Experience in millwright, mechanical assembly, or heavy equipment maintenance.
• Ability to read mechanical drawings and use precision measuring tools.

Responsibilities

• Assemble and maintain heavy-duty rotating equipment using hydraulic torque tools and cranes.
• Interpret technical drawings and follow detailed work instructions.
• Use precision measuring devices to take and record measurements.
• Operate material handling equipment including overhead cranes and rigging systems.
• Perform grinding, honing, polishing, and blade pinning as needed.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to improve processes and ensure quality.
• Utilize digital tools for job tracking, quality documentation, and training.
