WestRock in Plymouth, IN is seeking a Forming Technician for the 2nd shift (2:00pm-10:00pm) to support Finishing and Forming. Starting rate is $25.97/hr plus shift differential. You will maintain equipment, monitor waste and productivity, and ensure GMP compliance and safety programs across the department.

The role requires reading drawings, basic math, and use of hand and power tools, with a focus on teamwork and reliability to meet daily production goals.

Competenze

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Ability to read a tape measure to 1/16 inch.
• Basic math and computer skills required.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Industrial manufacturing experience preferred.
• Ability to read drawings, sketches and OEM instructions.
• Must be flexible on shift and pass screenings.
• Strong teamwork and safety awareness.

Mansioni

• Ensure all machines are running properly.
• Oversee production of Stackers and Packers.
• Ensure mechanical parts of machines are in working order.
• Request needed parts and supplies as needed.
• Perform scheduled maintenance for finishing equipment.
• Monitor hourly waste/productivity and adjust as needed.
• Fill out daily production records accurately.
• Maintain GMP compliance and safety programs.
• Support quality checks and audits.
• Assist Finishing Dept. Manager with tasks.
