Ryder System, Inc. is hiring a 2nd Shift Trainer in Minooka, Illinois. This role offers weekly pay, comprehensive benefits, and a path for career growth within a safety-focused warehouse environment.

Responsibilities include training dock staff, assisting with packing and material handling, and ensuring accurate scanning and secure facility practices on a 2:30 PM–11:00 PM shift with overtime as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Six months of related warehouse experience required.
• One year or more related warehouse experience preferred.
• Learn to operate powered industrial trucks (stand-up/sit-down forklifts, cherry pickers, pallet jacks) and maintain them.
• May operate manual/automated other warehouse equipment such as a packaging line.

Responsibilities

• Package, kit and/or assemble orders and materials.
• Load and unload inbound/outbound trailers; ensure scanning is correct.
• Train dock employees on new procedures.
• Ensure facility security at end of shift; resolve scanning issues and housekeeping.
• Perform picking and packing duties; check for damage.
