Job summary

Brakebush Chicken in Mocksville, NC is seeking a 2nd Shift Forklift Operator to support shipping and receiving operations. This full-time, nonexempt role runs 3:00 PM to 1:00 AM and pays $22.52 per hour.

You will operate forklifts, pick and load orders, and move product between trailers and storage areas using SAP for despatch. You must complete forklift and PIT trainings, communicate effectively with production and QA teams, and comply with USDA and TQC regulations.

Qualifications

• Must complete forklift and other powered industrial truck trainings and hazard communication training courses.
• Must demonstrate good communication.
• Must meet Shipping Back & Task requirements.
• Must be able to stand, walk, bend, lift and twist up to 9 hours per day.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate forklift to pick up, load, and unload orders from outbound and inbound trailers.
• Accurately picking, staging and loading orders in SAP
• Transferring products to and from storage
• Maintaining housekeeping for clean docks, freezers, office and storage areas
• Communicate with production and QA teams
• Follow all USDA and company TQC regulations.
• Other duties performed as assigned by supervisor
