Job summary

Leon Farmer and Company seeks a skilled Forklift Operator for the 2nd shift (2:00 p.m. - 10:30 p.m.) in our beverage warehouse. Responsibilities include unloading, receiving, inventory management, and operating a forklift to move packages and load company trailers.

Candidates should have warehouse experience, forklift operation skills, and shipping/receiving knowledge. A valid driver's license, the ability to lift heavy items, and flexibility for holiday shifts are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Valid driver's license with clean driving record.
• Ability to lift and carry heavy packages and goods.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Flexibility to work during holidays.
• Must be able to obtain an Alcohol Permit.

Responsibilities

• Unload product from supplier breweries and place packages into inventory.
• Rotate current inventory in controlled environment warehouse.
• Load company trailers according to sales order.
• Unload company trailer upon their return to the warehouse.
• Repack damaged packages to deliver to the customer.
• Prepare pallet for the next day.
• Build, wrap, and mark all bulk route orders.
• Maintain a clean and safe warehouse environment.
• Ensure compliance with all company policies, local, state and federal laws.
• Be available for additional duties as needed.
