Job summary

DSV – Global Transport and Logistics in the United States is seeking a Forklift Driver for the 2nd shift (3:30 pm–12:30 am). The role involves operating a forklift for moving, stacking and counting merchandise, with duties including order filling, receiving, storage, and shipping to meet safety and productivity standards.

Candidates should have a high school diploma or GED, 6 months of logistics experience, and be forklift-certified.

Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma or GED.
• 6 months experience working in a logistics/distribution environment.
• Able to operate material handling equipment (MHE).
• Satisfactory completion of a forklift training program.

Responsibilities

• Unload inbound shipments safely and move product to storage locations; input data into WMS.
• Pick and prepare orders; ensure correct quantity and type of product is loaded for shipment.
• Maintain accurate records; verify inbound/outbound shipments for damage or discrepancies.
• Move product from staging to production lines or docks efficiently and safely.
• Keep work area organized; assist in inventory counts and stock rotation.
• Operate forklift and related equipment safely; follow SOPs and safety rules.
