Job summary

Simon & Schuster is seeking a 2nd Shift Forklift Operator-Turret Driver for its distribution facility in Delran, NJ. This role involves operating a turret for pallet and carton picks, putting away stock, filling orders, replenishment, staging pallets, and occasional use of an Order Selector when turret work isn’t available.

The candidate should have RF device experience, turret or Drexel equipment familiarity, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs., with a focus on accurate labeling and safe

Qualifications

• RF device experience required.
• Turret operation experience or familiarity with Drexel equipment.
• Able to accurately and timely pick full pallet labels.
• Must follow equipment safety rules and regulations.
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to work overtime as needed.
• Effective communication about work progress and issues.

Responsibilities

• Operate Turret for pallet picks.
• Operate Turret for carton picks.
• Be flexible to production needs.
• Execute put-aways, order filling, replenishment, staging pallets.
• Replenish to other locations as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
• Operate Order Selector when turret work is not available.

RESPONSIBILTIIES INCLUDE

• Operating Turret for pallet picks
• Operating Turret for carton picks
• Flexibility as production needs vary
• Execute: put aways, filling orders and replenishment, staging pallets
• Replenishment to other locations
• Other duties as assigned
• Operate Order Selector when turret work is not available

REQUIREMENTS

• RF device experience
• Turret or Drexel experience
• Ability to pick full pallet labels accurately and timely
• Ability to adhere to Simon and Schuster’s Equipment Safety Rules and Regulations
• Ability to lift 50 lbs.
• And other duties as assigned.
• Ability to communicate effective regarding progress of work and any issues
• Adapt to changes in work environment
• Work overtime as needed
• Meet company SOP’s
