Job summary

GSP Companies in Madison, WI is seeking a Finished Goods Inventory Control Specialist to manage and verify finished goods, signage, and inventory accuracy. You will pull, inspect, tag, and store inventory, and handle IMS orders and shortages with attention to detail.

Responsibilities include receiving finished goods, performing cycle counts, and coordinating with Account Managers to resolve discrepancies while keeping work areas organized and compliant with safety standards.

Qualifications

• Experience with inventory control and accuracy checks.
• Comfort with both administrative systems and hands-on warehouse work.

Responsibilities

• Pull requisitioned finished goods accurately and on time.
• Receive and inspect finished signage; verify counts against customer GTRs.
• Tag, store, and maintain inventory control for all finished products.
• Perform inventory prep and cycle counts (priority when on hand <10).
• Process IMS orders; validate part numbers, promotions, and quantities.
• Send Box approvals and IMS shortage emails; complete debits after pulling GTRs.
• Relocate customer-supplied signage to correct finished goods area.
• Handle re-ship orders with precision and speed.
• Ensure overage is tagged and stored by customer.
• Assist other departments as needed and escalate issues.
