Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• 1 year driving experience preferred but may train the right candidate.
• Ability to read safety rules, maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
• Able to read and speak English.
• Minimal computer skills.
• Strong mechanical aptitude a plus.
• Ability to handle on-the-road situations (mud, snow, ice).

Responsibilities

• Operate a company-owned feed truck to deliver feed from the feed mill to production facilities and other destinations.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of equipment daily.
• Unload feed at the correct destination and bin.
• Complete and maintain required paperwork accurately and promptly (electronic logs, tickets, forms).
• Comply with all safety policies and biosecurity rules.
• Report issues to supervisor and schedule preventative maintenance.
