Job summary

Large Neutracutical Company is seeking a Janitor for 2nd shift to perform daily cleaning and sanitation across the facility. The role requires stocking supplies and maintaining logs, while coordinating with leads and other departments to uphold safety and quality standards.

The position emphasizes adherence to company policies, a safe work environment, and reliable response to janitorial requests, with a focus on professional conduct and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Performs daily maintenance and cleaning of floors, vents, walls, sinks, fixtures, bathrooms and toilets and other areas within the facility
• Restocks all cleaning and sanitary supplies so that they do not run out at any time
• Sanitizes bathrooms, sinks and equipment as specified in the SOP for sanitation
• Completes and maintains required documentation, log books, etc.
• Responds to janitorial requests in a timely manner
• Monitors equipment to ensure proper operation and calibration
• Works with leads, supervisor, and personnel from other departments to ensure safety and quality in production
• Complies with all Company policies and procedures, including safety rules and regulations
• Maintains a safe work environment and functions in a safe manner
• Performs other duties as assigned
• Ability to foster productive working relationships with management, coworkers, vendors and customers
• Ability to interpret, comply with, and support Company policies, procedures, work rules, and protocols
• Ability to adapt effectively to workplace changes and new job duties/responsibilities
• Ability to represent the Company in a positive and professional manner
